My nephew, 1.7 years old is suffering from runny nose and cough past 3 days. Every next morning the amount of coughing is increasing. Anything he is eating, he is vomiting out. He had fever two days ago but it is not there now. We are giving him Levolin for his cough but there's no improvement. His paediatrician told us to get him nebulised yesterday but we are hoping if we could relief his cough at home. What should we do? Please suggest here. Is too much coughing going to cause him any problem?

Looks like a viral infection. I'll take time resolve.
Continue cough syrup. Nebulization will be helpful depending on the chest sounds. 3% ns can be given safely at home with a nebulizer, but it is better to take other nebulizer in the clinic/hospital
