Cough and high Esr
I was having cough and cold for 4 days..I had a fever between 99 and 100.5 deg f for last two days but the fever was jst for 1 or 2 hrs when I took pcm it subsided.Today as my dr advised to take a blood test.my esr is 40.. HB,pltcount are normal..I am in a confusion that why is my ESR is high.
Dr told me to take azhythromycin tab for 5 days ..
Is there any serious problem with this high ESR??

It's because of the infection, ESR is high. If infection comes down ,ESR will become normal.
And if you have started azythromycin course complete it.
If not, take
Tab Amoxiclav 625mg 1-0-1*5 days after food ( don't take both the antibiotics, take either of them)
Tab pan 40 1-0-0*5 days before food
Tab citrazine 10mg 0-0-1*5 days after food.
Fever usually subsides after medications, if temperature is above 99 before taking parecatomol take dolo 650 1-0-1*3 days after food
