  4. Cough and cold. Using neboline and ns.

My 2.4 years daughter has severe cough (seems congestion in chest), also nose running. Her doctor suggested maxtra, pls suggest what would be dose . And if I want to give nebuliser which combination I should use, earlier I was using neboline and NS.

Do not nebulize unless advised by your paediatrician after chest examination. You can give steam inhalations safely for 5 mins each time and repeat after 4 hours. Use decongestant nasal drops for nasal blockade or increased cough on lying down.
