Hi Dear, Root canal will fail if roots are not properly cleaned. Re-RCT can be done but prices will depend on the Dentist, They should use protapers which will completely clean the infection portion. They should use proper irrigation solution for removal of infection.

Cost cannot be revealed without a thorough clinical examination of the tooth in a dental set-up,,it may be re-infected which may require a re-RCT and the cost then almost doubles up the standard rates,,so best is you should get an X-ray done and then see a dentist in person.
