Hi
My baby is 7 months old, we are giving him 0.5ml of Vitamin D3 Must ( 400IU) since birth from the brand Mankind Company . Is this quantity sufficient for the requirement of baby or were we giving less dosage to him ?
I am worried because the Drops that Dr. recommended is 0.5ml of 800 IU and I was not aware that 400 IU /800 IU has different qunatity. The brand that Dr. prescribed was not available in our area so we bought D3Must (400IU) and gave that to baby 0.5 ml daily, have we given him less quantity and will it impact his growth?
We consult one Dr. recently in our hometown and he recommended 1ml Bevon Drops daily. Should we consume these drops together?
What quantity of D3 drops should we give 7month baby now onwards to keep everything in line.
Thanks

400 IU is sufficient provided baby is on exclusive breast feeds. If taking only formula feeds don't add vit D3.In case of low birth weight babies dose is 800 iu daily.

The correct dose is 400 IU per day from birth till 1 year of age. So please give 1 ml per day of d3 must drops from now on. Bevon contains multi vitamins. They are not compulsory. They are recommended only if there is a deficiency. Iron deficiency is common at this age. Iron drops are indicated.
Hi, you can give both; bevon drops has 200IU of D3
Start giving d3 must 1 ml till 1 yr of age
If want to be sure get vit D levels done and can give dose accordingly
400 IU should be given till 1 year
Yes you can give d3 and bevon drops together
You can give the correct dosage starting now and nothing to worry if the child's growth and development are normal
