Consumption of contraceptive pill
I have PCOD since 2012, but not under any medication currently. My menstrual cycle is regular always. Could you please advise if it is safe to consume one contraceptive pill every month after unprotected intercourse? I had taken i-pill once in past, could you please suggest if its ok if I take it again after an unprotected intercourse? Will there be any side effects? Also which is a better contraceptive pill- Unwanted 72 or i-pill?

I pill is for those who indulge in Sexual activity very occassionally. Or it is for those where they could not use the contraception properly, Or it is a most unexpected intercourse. For those who indulge in regular Sexual intimacy there are other methods available. Frequent use of emergency contraception may lead to irregular periods which will be difficult to manage.

I pill and unwanted 72 are emergency contraceptives which prevent implantation after unprotected intercourse. They are not v good options. Sometimes they fail and lead to pregnancy in the same cycle. If ur having sex regularly take oral contraceptives daily. 100% protection from unwanted pregnancy

Emergency pills have a high failure rate U  can be pregnant despite one also they may lead to irregular and excessive vaginal bleeding Hence ipill not advisable the 21 day contraceptive pill would be a better idea to prevent an  unwanted  pregnancy
