Constipation
My 3.5 yr old son is having constipation issues. We have been giving him enema since past 3 days along with 3 dose each 7.5 ml of duphalac. Is it safe to give him enema at such a frequency? Should he still be given of the same if he continues to complain of not being able to paas the stool?

If the constipation is diet related then first modify diet. If it is due to surgical reason then consult surgeon. Just giving enema is not sufficient

Have you consulted someone? The cause of constipation needs to be addressed. In most cases it is the change in diet which makes all the difference, of course, with good water intake. There are diet charts available which you can follow. Medicines for disimpaction are necessary but change in diet is of foremost importance.
