I have a 5-year-old daughter who has been diagnosed with autism. We have tried various therapies for the past three years. Many people have told us that she may have gut-related issues, but no specific medication has been prescribed for them.
We have also tried dietary changes and stopped giving her wheat, bakery products, maida, chocolates, and milk/dairy products. We tried homeopathic treatment for about nines months as well. However, she continues to have constipation problems.
Could you please suggest what we should do next .

Persistent pediatric constipation resembles functional constipation, but may also stem from sensory processing challenges, subtle food intolerances, or pelvic floor coordinate issues common in autism.
The specialist can review her case to safely guide medical maintenance therapies using options like polyethylene glycol, lactulose, or specific lifestyle adjustments.
