My baby is 8 weeks old. He didn't poop for 4 days and when he pooped today it was very thick and had a little blood in it. He vomitted few times aswell (3ce in 4 days). Is this something to be concerned about? He has had constipation previously also. He is breastfed majorly and formula fed 2ce at night since I take antidepressants and cannot feed him for 4 hours. The formula is mixed as per the guidelines. What can I do to help with his constipation? Is vomiting and blood in stool something to be worried about? Attached a pic of his stool where I saw a little blood.

Hi. You can use a use an osmotic laxative to relive constipation. Use lactulose syrup 2ml twice daily for 3 weeks. Burping should be done daily after every feed for 20mins
