Pain in the foot especially on getting up in the morning is either you do plantar fasciitis or tight calf muscles which in itself leads to plantar fasciitis. Low Vitamin D and raised uric acid also contribute to the same. If you have a flat foot or are high arch foot, that makes matters worse. Being overweight also contributes to the foot pain specially hindfoot pain.
Next Steps
see a foot and ankle surgeon in the area who would be able to evaluate both your feet and ankles and suggest remedial measures.
