I am doing work out since one year one day in doing gym during biceps work out a sudden sound comes out from my back bones so light pain happens in my upper part of back so i consult to a doctor he advised me to to not workout &give some medicine bt not any relief since 2 months

The popping sound is not a good sign if pain has lasted so long
If your pain still persists then you should undergo a test called Mri of the spine to see if that sign was of a slip disc
Hope you have taken physiotherapy if not then start physio also and consult a spine specialist and get your MRI done
