Condom burst
Hello my wife is a mother of 2 year old child who is breasfeeding. Yesterday my condom broke and i by mistake i ejaculated inside her,but we dont want pregnancy can she take ipill, would it affect my breastfeeding child?

You wait for the date of her next period. If she doesn't get her periods by the due date then you should do a urine pregnancy test and consult with a Gynaecologist. She can take i pill. She will have to suffer the consequences because her other choice is to wait till a pregnancy is diagnosed and she gets an MTP done. In that case she will bear the effects of MTP.

First of all, you should tell about the last menstrual period of your wife whether they are regular or not. Then only we can decide whether she requires to take any emergency contraceptive depending upon the fertility period

It is safe in breastfeeding. But it has other side effects like withdrawal bleeding, spotting, delayed periods and it has failure rates also of around 10%

Go for morning after pill, or pill 72 , but it’s effectivity will depend on the day of cycle and regularity of your wife’s menstrual cycles

You can take the pill. It's safe in breastfeeding. Pill has many side effects and high failure rate.
