Concern about height growth in teens
I am 16 years old and almost going to be 17 in few days, I am very concerned about my height, and it's 5 foot 6 inches, nowadays I am trying to get best nutrition possible daily like 2 glass of milk daily, lentils, non-veg, supplements etc. so that I can reach my height potential and a little bit of excercise streching, hanging in morning. So that atleast I can reach 5 foot 9 inches. Also my Father is also approx 5'6. So, is it possible for me to have it and if any suggestions to improve my routine it? Please...

Genetic matters but nutrition, sleep, exercise and posture can help you to reach maximum potential height Morning Wake up early Streching 10-15 minutes Sunlight exposure 15-20 minutes ( vitamin D helps bone growth) Exercises: Hanging on bar Skipping-5-10 min Stretching/ yoga Yoga poses : Tadasan Bhujangasana Surya namaskar Evening: Basketball, swimming, cycling or badminton Sleep : 7-8 hours daily Growth hormone released during sleep Sleep before 10:30 -11:00 pm Nutrient important for height Protein Calcium Vitamin D Zinc and magnesium Foods add : milk, paneer, eggs, fish, nuts, dal, green leafy, vegetables Avoid : Junk food and sugary drinks Excess mobile/ computer sitting Late night sleeping Smoking and alcohol Extra tip - Maintain good posture ( straight back while sitting and walking)
