Colonoscopy
Hi My mother who is 50 had her CT scan with abdomen and pelvis and report mentions polyp found in colon and advises a colonoscopy. Is it necessary to get this done. If yes what is the approx cost and side effects involved? Also what is the post operation procedures.

Colonoscopy is done both for investigative and treatment purpose .. biopsy will be taken for cyst and if possible to remove then it will be removed too.. and it’s safe
