I have rheumatoid arthritis and several constant joint pains. Just taking medicines is not helping me much and pain comes back. I came across benefits of collagen in relieving join pains. However I needed expert's advice on this whether this can be helpful or not.

Hello. Collagen supplements are beneficial, but the right source /dosage/brand is important. You may also see side effects if it doesn’t suit you. Existing medical conditions also play an important role, as it may interfere with any other medication that you maybe taking. Zinc and calcium supplements are priority now, as your body may not get these through food sources mainly due to age. Include chicken soup, bones broth, nuts and oil seeds, whole grains , herbs like turmeric /rosemary, these also help in inflammation and pain management

In my opinion going for a supplement without consulting  a Physician & not understanding actual deficiencies. I would rather suggest you to go for foods who help human body produce natural collagen. These are Vitamin C rich foods, dairy products & high protein foodsike egg white, mushroom, chicken, fish, nuts,  tofu etc.
Next Steps
Consult me through practo for a detailed plan.
