Rheumatoid Arthritis food to avoid
Hi, I m female with 61 yrs and have rheumatoid arthritis. What should be the ideal diet plan? I am pure vegetarian following jain diet. What foods to include daily to reduce its progression.

Hi You should include Alkaline foods like fruits and vegetables such cabbage ,carrot ,cucumber ,onion ,radishes ,tomatoes and include cooked vegetables such as beetroot cauliflower ,cabbage ,brinjal ,mushrooms ,onions ,peas beans ,spinach ,tomatoes ,squash etc.. include of couple of fresh raw fish vegetables in the form of salad and add atleast two cooked vegetables. Can also take vegetable juices of leafy greens and potato juice early morning on empty stomach..Fresh pineapple juice is also helpful in reducing swelling and inflammation of joints in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis . Hi You have to include fruits and veggies which are rich in antioxidants, which will help you stabilize molecules called radicals that will trigger inflammation and damaged cells. Include while gains,peas and beans,nuts and olive oil.

I can understand your concern. A diet rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory food will help you to reduce the pain caused due to RA. Include a diet good in Vegetable and fruits.
