Hi, if you are getting cold sores around or on your lips.....it might be Herpes simplex virus type 1 ( HSV - 1)......the first outbreak will be severe and then you might get outbreaks without fever but only cold sores with bleeding of gums.....it is also called herpes labialis.....you will have burning pain followed by fluid filled blisters.....which can recur several times a year....it can be treated ....that is the outbreaks can be prevented and handles by homoeopathic remedies like....arsenicum album, capsicum, hepar Sulphur.....etc.....the right medicine should be chosen by the homoeopath through case taking and prescription to be given with the dosages
