Planning to go to hill station in late December where temperature might fall till 2 degree. My husband is 62 years old, he consumes 2.5 power medicine for high BP and he has a little bit high suger than normal. No other complications. Quite fit a person.
He is a bit afraid if any severity comes from cold like shivering etc
Is there any preventive medicine?
Will it be safe for him to travel?

I have understood ur problem .can help u with next course of treatment and appropriate solution so that u can live ur life freely..kindly consult for medicines and further advice regarding life style changes too.
Simply carry his regular medicines and enough warm wear.a woolen cap ,muffler and woollen socks.
If he is warm,bp will not rise.
Eat healthy,sleep well.
Keep the phone number of the nearest hospital in case of an emergency
Carry his BP medications
And give history on allergies and susceptibility to cold. Its highly likely you both might get some cold once you reach there. If he has travelling sickness then also let me know.
