Cold and mild fever
My son is having running nose, coughing and mild fever. Kindly prescribe general medicine. He is 3 year old and his weight is around 17.

Hello...first I would suggest that you check your son's temperature.Give paracetamol only if it's above 100.4F.In that case,remove any extra layers of clothing,like sweaters, blankets etc and give him paracetamol syrup(250/5) 5 ml .
It can be given again after 4- 6 hours if fever spikes again.Make sure the child is well hydrated.
For the running nose and cough,
Syp Allegra(30/5) 5 ml twice daily for three days will suffice.This can cause mild sedation.
