Hi, I am 24 years old...I have very low self esteem and don't have enough courage to fight with situations...I always try run out of situations... Actually When I dignosed myself I am enough hard working and flexible with the situations but It is not working in a positive way for me at all...My work is not getting acknowledged where I work because of not being able to talk confidently and coz of nature of being backout..My personality is not impressive...I always try to be correct and not to mistake which I think not good always...Please tell me what should I do?...I read about CBT...but I don't know much deep about it...So please explain if it will work for me or not? And what will be the ingeneral cost of it in India?

Hi It's all your negative thinking and low self esteem that's making you feel like this.Think of yourself as a lifelong learner. Approach everything that you do with a student's mentality.It's a common response to be hard on yourself when you've failed. But if you can shift your thinking to understand that failure is an opportunity to learn, that it plays a necessary role in learning and growth, it can help you keep perspective. Remember too that failure means you're making an effort. The cost of CBT in india depends on the area you live and experience of the therapist, may range from 500 to 3000 or may be a little more.

please read autobiographies of great personalities and other novels of your interest, read news papers, by reading, your language and other communications will improve that can boost up your confidence. Try to learn some new skill, stand at the edge of comfort zone, dont think what others think about you.
