My sister is 35 years old and deaf since birth with profound hearing loss . can we go for cochlear implant at this age

Can go for cochlear implant if no other option and MRI is favourable. Speech therapy is required post implant. As she is 35, it may take some time for her to start speech. Children pick up early.

Hav u given trial for hearing aid machine fr 3 months If yes den go for it After cochlear implant go for speech therapy session Dat is main thing ..if not go then dere is no use

First try for Hearing aid if it's not helping then go for cochlear implant followed by speech Therapy.

An examination in the form of - BERA CT MRI Evaluation by audiologist Evaluation by ENT surgeon is required before this can be advised Some important considerations are -has the patient received any speech therapy ,are the mri ct scan showing normal nerve complexes ?etc Have to be done before this decision can be taken
