Since you have had heart bypass surgery and are on Ecosprin, these painful bluish-red lumps on your legs, arms, and shoulders could be bruising or blood pooling under the skin due to the blood thinner, or possibly superficial clots. Combined with occasional sweating, this should not be ignored given your cardiac history. Please visit your cardiologist or a physician soon for a proper examination and blood tests.

This is not enough to diagnose a condition, but it suggests a few possibilities that need medical evaluation Occurs due to bleeding under skin. Can be a vascular or blood related disorder. Seek immediate medical evaluation if any of following problems are there: Shortness of breath Chest pain Fever Rapid spreading of the discoloration Swelling of one leg Severe pain Dizziness or weakness
Next Steps
Get CBC. Most important at this stage to rule out possible problems.
