Chronic pain(shoulder) and TMJ
So Ive been having pain and assymetry in my left shoulder blade for more than a year now. I also have TMJ, which i had gotten x-ray for, i was then told to get a CT scan for my jaw and refer a TMJ specialist but my dad didnt let me follow through. Now the pain is so bad it effects my whole day and everything i do. I went to doctors who just said physio will help and dismissed me but it doesnt go away and it gets worse sometimes. I lift weights because i wanna get back in shape, 5-10 mins into my workout my left shoulder will completely give in and i have weird clicking noises from my shoulder and my ear drum gets vibrating or creates some air gap (whoosing sound continuously). I want to get better but it feels like no one helps me, not doctors not parents. I want to live normally wothout pain for once. Please help me.

Your symptoms are confusing because they don't seem to be linked to each other. Pain and asymmetry of the shoulder joint suggests an old shoulder dislocation which was not corrected in time. TMJ is not a disease. It is the name of a joint. Now why they have suggested a CT Scan of the TMJ is not clear. TMJ problems are dealt with by the Dentist and the shoulder joint is managed by the Orthopaedic surgeon.  So you should consult an Orthopedic surgeon and a Dentist, preferably in a Government Medical College so that a proper assessment is made.
