Chronic Lichen planus
I have a lesion on the inner side of my cheek from the past 5 years. Doctor said that it's lichen planus and suggested rexidin m forte gel with SM fibro. But the packing of rexidin m says that metronidazole is carcinogenic.should i use it or not. As the lesion is exposed and have redness and painful

In lab rats, yes. Its a proved carcinogen. In humans, its listed as a possible carcinogen. But its widely used. Unnecessary usage is not recommended. You can continue the use for specified period if given by a dentist.
