Just visit a oral medicine specialist as suggested to confirm with lichen planus. It is definitely not dangerous as you mention. Longterm benefits of allopathic medicine is sceptical. Alternative medicine is the speak of the day.
Oral lichen planus as such is not a dangerous but it is definitely a precancerous lesion with approximately 50% chances of conversion into malignant lesion. So the earlier the treatment, better the prognosis.
