Hello, thank you for your detailed query. Chronic anal fissures usually cause recurring symptoms, especially with hard stools. You mentioned that your pain is minimal but there is occasional bleeding. It is true that chronic fissures may not cause intense pain in all cases, but the bleeding you experience needs to be monitored. Ensuring a diet high in fiber and drinking plenty of water is essential for softening stools and preventing further irritation.
Regarding your concern about fistulas and cancer, while chronic fissures are generally not directly linked to cancer, prolonged inflammation or untreated conditions can sometimes lead to complications like fistulas. Anal cancer, however, is very rare and usually associated with other risk factors like HPV infection. Your doctor’s advice about managing the condition through diet and lifestyle changes seems appropriate, but if you continue to experience symptoms or are worried, it's always better to seek further evaluation.
For a more personalized approach, you can consult me directly for a detailed evaluation and treatment plan. Feel free to reach me on WhatsApp at eight double zero, nine eight two, one double three two.
