I have bipolar disorder and my doctor has prescribed chlordiazepoxide for anxiety for two weeks. Is this medicine suitable for long term use? Or should it be stopped gradually after two weeks?

Any addicting medicine should not be taken for long term.This is true for Chlordiazepoxide too. There are other good evidence based non-addicting anti-anxiety medicines available which can safely be prescribed in bipolarity.
