My sister moved to Germany for higher studies two weeks ago. Although it’s summer, the temperature can drop as low as 4°C. She’s been experiencing sudden chills — feeling cold all of a sudden — several times, even indoors, without having a fever. During these episodes, her heart also beats faster than normal. Her medical insurance is not yet activated to get this checked. Is this something to be concerned about?

This may not be serious, but sudden chills with palpitations could be due to anxiety, cold intolerance, or even thyroid issues. It's best to monitor her symptoms, ensure she stays warm and hydrated.
Next Steps
Seek medical care once insurance is active—especially if symptoms worsen or persist.
