Chickenpox causes red eyes
My husband is suffering from Chickenpox since last 1week. He is taking Zovirax800 MG. Medicine for the same. Last day he is having red eye, photo phobia, though no itchiness in eyes. Only light causes his right eye paining. Kindly help me with some medication. Can it be turned something serious harm for his eye? Pls suggest. Please help.🙏

You can use simple lubricants drops For temporary relief But physical consultation is needed to rule out cornea problem. As chicken pox can involve cornea too. And lead to photophobia

Pl immediately consult Ophthalmologist. He has to undergo vision test,and slitlamp eye examination, and certain other tests.
