Eye redness chickenpox
On the third day of chickenpox noticed redness in one eye in the conjunctiva and light sensitivity. Eyelids of same eye are a bit swollen and painful. Feels like having a grain of sand in the eye. Otherwise no blurriness. Just dull pain. Desire to keep eye closed or in low lightning conditions. Wondering how feasible and safe it is to go to a doctor due to infectious nature if chicken pox.

Such conditions are usually self limiting. Just observe. If no deterioration , just wait and watch. If conditions deteriorate & vision drops show to an opthalmologist. Meanwhile you can put some lubricants cum antibiotics drops for symptomatic relief and to avoid secondary infection.
