Degenerative spine .. expected with age. It can be a cause for vertigo , but there are many other causes too. Needs clinical evaluation.

X ray which is 6 month old and vertigo in M/ 49 yr requir attention. Check cbc, blood sugars and ECG. If normal advise rest and vit B complex. ( Bening postural vertigo ) will subside in 1-2 weeks time.

If no Relif in 1-2 weeks ask for fresh x ray / MRI
