From this photograph, I do not see any obvious fracture or dislocation. There appears to be mild straightening of the normal cervical curvature, which is commonly seen with muscle spasm or poor posture. However, a photographed X-ray is not sufficient to rule out cervical disc problems or nerve compression. If you have neck pain radiating to the arm, numbness, tingling, or weakness, further evaluation is required.
Next Steps
Please consult an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon for a clinical examination. If symptoms persist or you have pain radiating to the arm, numbness, tingling, or weakness, an MRI of the cervical spine may be required. If you would like a detailed review of your X-rays and symptoms, you can also book an online consultation with me for personalized advice.
Health Tips
Maintain good neck posture, avoid prolonged mobile/laptop use with the neck bent forward, use a proper pillow, and start neck isometric and posture-correction exercises only after evaluation. Seek urgent medical attention if you develop progressive arm weakness, difficulty walking, or loss of bladder/bowel control.
