Is there anyone who can tell me is that loose bodies (3) in this X-Ray which can be seen clearly and the treatment for that?
My mother has undergone a partial meniscus (L) repair surgery through Arthroscopy around one and half month back.
She is having severe pain in her whole leg after the surgery and swelling in the surgical area as well as just a bit above her knee. She is having pain while moving her leg as well as in relaxing mode.
The pain killer effect would only last long for 5-6 hour.
Physiotherapy is going on from past week continuously with cold pack 2 times a day and medicine which she is taking are :
Cartigen - once a day
Bio d3 max - once a day
Disperzyme - twice a day
Etova er 600 - once a day
Lupivestin 500 - twice a day
Uprise d3 - once a week
Pan 40 - once a day empty stomach

Meniscal surgery yes I have my own experience people have more pain than preoperative initially after surgery but gradually settles down. If I am not wrong you would have been better with TKR with this x-ray. if pain is severe even after 6 to 12 week s post surgery lease meet your surgeon

There are arthritic changes in x-ray
Please ask the surgeon about cartilage status inside joint who did arthroscopy
If it was damaged then she needs TKR
