My cervix length was 2.6cm on 14 weeks 3 days. So doctor adviced me cerclage. I undergone that. Before cerclage dr adviced me to take duvadilan 10mg BD and nidagen 200mg BD. I was taking that. After the procedure along with these tablets she added duphaston 20mg BD. For what all these. Will progesterone cause unwanted weight gain? I m getting severe headache these days. Plz suggest

Progesterone and duvadilan are given to keep your uterus relaxed so that it doesn’t put strain on cervical stitch and also supplement pregnancy hormones
Duphaston and nidagen are 2 different progesterones
If headaches and bloating is persistent visit your doctor so that dose can be reduced
