CEA is a very non specific test
But can be used to follow up in a diagnosed cancer patient with elevated CEA
However your CEA is with in normal limits
However would advice against smoking

Hello sir…CEA is a nonspecific test used in patients with colon cancer , Lung cancer and mucinous neoplasms..It is used as a prognostic and treatment response marker but cant be used for diagnosis especially as a standalone diagnostic test…The normal range is upto 5 for non smokers and your value is way within normal limits….
