Cea 2.56 level is concerning
I wanted to understand why my CEA level is slightly elevated. My value is 2.56, while my brother’s and my husband’s and mother in law CEA levels are around 0.8, which is making me feel anxious.
I got this test done mainly because there was a health check-up offer, and they said it is good for routine screening. I currently do not have any specific symptoms, but seeing the difference in values is causing stress.
Could you please let me know if this level is concerning and whether I need any further tests or follow-up? Your guidance would really help clear my doubts and ease my anxiety.

CEA is not a routine test. It is not recommended as a screening test to be done in general population routinely. Your test values are normal. Do not worry.
