Cataract surgery
Sir , I have cataract in both eyes , doctor suggest me to undergo operation ,but my blood sugar level is ( fasting 167 and PP 245 ) HB1C is 5-6%. Urine R ,N is normal ( test done on dated 7/2/17) . Should I go for surgery .kindly tell me or if any suggestion for my better. Thanking you

Your HbA1c is normal but the current sugars are not in range. Meet a diabetologist to get adequate control. These short term fluctuations can be managed easily. Take care

Monitor your sugar for 2 weeks and if hb1c is under control and fasting < then 150 and Pp < 200 one can plan surgery
