You should continue with your back stretching and strengthening exercises for atleast 120 days to get good results. While lifting anything from the ground you should bend your knees while going down. Try to carry less number of files at a time.

It will be more helpful if you share the impression oh your MRI Lumbar spine Because L4 L5 disc bulge can be posterior or laterally with/without compression of existing nerve roots. Because exercises will be based on that Considering your age! If there is no serious trauma or fall Or if history of running/ sports U might look into piriformis muscle also Sometimes piriformis syndrome can represent same symptoms.
Next Steps
Stretch piriformis muscle Hamstring and glute Ice pack- 15 mins / 3 times a day Core muscle strengthening

Take IFT and ultrasound therapy for 10days and avoid any exercises untill the pain reduces. depending upon the condition and imprivement exercises will be suggested by the therapist. Avoid lifiting objects, forward/back bend, prolonged standing, driving for a long time. Maintain proper posture and take rest. Hot water fermentation twice a day will be helpfull.

Disc structures could be more irritated if the pelvis is not aligned well. This usually requires hands on manual therapy treatment. And these injuries do take 4 to 6 weeks. Occasionally even longer. If you want to you could have an online consultation if you don't want to go to a clinic. To check on your Exercises.
