Can rat eat coconut???

I had kept the hard coconut shell outside our balcony without opening it.. the rat had come and visited the balcony .. can it eat the hard coconut shell when it is not broken?? I used the inner part of the coconut without my notice ... And it was not spoiled, does it cause any harm for health?? Is it harmful

It is possible for a rat to eat a coconut, if the inside of the coconut was untouched then you don't have to worry, but kindly do observe for development of high grade fever in the coming days and if it develops, visit the nearest casualty and undergo investigations such as CBC, Lepto IgM.
