Can low platelets count cause fever
I want to know the normal body temperature.I don't feel sick,but sometimes my body temp is a bit above 37°C.I got my Rt pcr test two times,both times it came negative.D dimer and crp also came normal.Dengue test came negative but platelets count was low i.e. 1'17,000.Can low platelets count cause fever?

The platelet count mentioned by you is within normal range,so that is not a concern...We can consider fever if your body temp is above 99°F...Do you have any other symptoms??Your reports need to be checked before commenting further

Get yout TLC and DLC done. Any infection will show changes in these counts. Low platelets per se don't cause fever but can be associated with some illness causing fever as a primary manifestation

This value of platelet count is acceptable as it is normal Also, the temperature is normal Anything above 38 degree would be problematic which is not the case here
