Can lack of sleep cause hair fall?
Hi...Suddenly from 3 weeks i started excess hair fall.. I changed nothing in my routine except sleep... earlier i used to sleep at 11.30 and wake up at 7.30... Now i sleep at 11.30 and wakeup at 6.00... Is this this the reason for hairfall??? If yes... Please suggest solution...

Hi Lack of sleep is probably not the only cause. There are multiple causes of hair fall like hormonal, nutritional deficiencies, thyroid problems, drugs, viral illness, stress, dieting, sudden weight loss etc. Detail history and laboratory tests are needed

There are various other causes of hair fall including  stress and lack of sleep..need to evaluate furthur for proper management..consult a dermatologist..take care..

Only sleep changes may not be the only cause..it's also stress related or deficiency of protein intake in diet..
