Can IUD help with skin issues
I have been on the pill Diane 35 for over 3-3.5 years and want to stop the pill and move to IUD for long term birth control. My pill helped me with skin issues such as severe oily skin and acne and body hair.. Will IUD help with skin issues ? Are IUDs only for women who have given birth at least once?

IUD will not help in skin issues. There are hormone containing IUD as well but they act locally on uterus. IUD can be used in any person but preferably if women has given birth or had abortion. IUD may have some issue as well like irregular bleeding initially or infection. But it is a good long term contraception. U have to choose between them

IUD will only prevent pregnancy. There are progesterone impregnated IUD also which help you control your blood loss during periods. But you will have to see if they control your acne or oily skin. Anyone can use an IUD. But it is easier to insert IUD in a woman who has had a NORMAL delivery or an abortion once (earlier).
