Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician. I understand your concern. ➡️ Burning in hands/fingers, radiating leg pain, and knee discomfort along with very low Vitamin D can be due to vitamin deficiencies affecting nerves and bones. General Advice: Take sunlight exposure (20–30 minutes, morning/evening). Maintain posture while sitting/working to avoid nerve compression. Eat a balanced diet rich in milk, curd, eggs, nuts, and green vegetables. What to monitor: Worsening pain, numbness, or weakness in hands/legs. Tingling or loss of balance while walking. Severe back or hip pain not improving with rest. Supplements: Vitamin D3 (weekly/monthly high-dose sachet/capsule as prescribed by doctor, then maintenance daily dose). Calcium + Magnesium combination to support bone health. Vitamin B12 and B-complex for nerve pain/burning. Take supplements regularly for at least 3 months or as advised after repeat blood tests. When to consult doctor immediately: Sudden inability to walk or lift hand. Severe shooting pain with numbness. Persistent high pain despite supplements. If symptoms persist, I recommend a neurologist/orthopedic consultation to rule out nerve compression or sciatica along with vitamin deficiency. You can connect with me directly on Practo or reach me on WhatsApp (85271646 seven seven) for a more personalized consultation. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician
