Brown / Red spotting 12 weeks pregnant

I observed brown spotting yesterday and today observed red spotting with no other symptoms. Is it common?

if u r pregnant...then check with the scan to confirm baby heart beat...mild spotting without pain is not a problem...bed rest is important....

Spotting could be due to trauma , infections ,polyp , ovarian cysts or hormonal imbalance. Ger yourself examined by a gynaecologist and also get a pap smear done if not already done before
