Exclusive breastfeeding is important. No bottle feeding absolutely. Importantly to follow the correct technique of breastfeeding ie. to complete the feed ( completely empty the breast at each feed as partial emptying the breast decreases the milk production).

Breast feed your baby frequently, and if your is below 6 months of age , give exclusive breast feeding. Home made, nutritious and balanced diet will help to maintain the breast milk secretion . Take Iron and calcium supplements after consulting your obstetrician

To increase milk production, eat healthy food like green leafy vegetables, fruits, egg , drink 3 to 4 litres of water , have stress free life .
