Lactare capsule for increasing milk
Hi, I am mother of 3 week old and my breast milk production is low. I am taking lactare capsule twice a day  to increase the milk production but still I feel it's not enough for my baby. What else I can do to increase milk production? Please advise

Lactare capsules can be used for increasing lactation but remember the hormones for milk production work best when you continue to breast feed . If you start giving top feeds even occasionally , it will reduce your milk production significantly . I am not clear why you feel the milk is not sufficient for your baby . Milk production is considered sufficient when : a) Baby sleeps 2 to 3 hours after a feed b) passes urine 6 to 8 times a day c) continues to gain weight @ about 150 to 200 gm per week  in first 3 months of life
