Hi, after putting braces if you will regularly touch then with your tongue it will lead to tongue cuts/ulcers, don't do that. To take care of braces, please eat all soft or semisolid food, don't bite on anything with your front teeth, eat slowly, have small bites of food, buy an Ortho brush which would help u maintain good oral hygiene and use mouthwash daily to avoid bad odour from mouth.
Health Tips
Consult your Orthodontist anytime you have some difficulty.
Thanks!
Your orthodontist will give you an instruction booklet regarding the things you can do n that u can't. There is no problem if u touch the braces with your tongue, but be careful not to push it hard. Please rinse and brush your teeth after every meal if possible as there are high chances of food getting stuck in between your teeth
