This is common problem. After a long year your teeth come back to the old possition. This is due to teeth wants to reqain a position with minimum pressure. Or other reason is when you speeck your tongue always touch inner side of ur teeth. Another reason genetics. You have to use retainers again to attain straight position. Use permant retainer after regain straight position of teeth. This permanent retainer fix inner side of ur teeth.... If you want more information pls ask me through my private chat. Thank you....

It is permanent unless you have a habit of tongues thrusting or if you didn't wear your retainers sincerely enough. People who have a habit of tongue thrusting, experience this because their tongue keeps applying force on the teeth from behind, causing the teeth to move forward. If the retainers are not worn for the recommended period of time, then the fibers around the teeth never adjust themselves to the new position and hence, after a few days/months/years they start pulling the teeth back in their older position. Either ways I would advice you to visit your Orthodontist again.

Dear practo user This could be happening due to pressure from wisdom teeth. Do full mouth X-ray  called opg.  Then consult on chat box for definite diagnosis and treatment planning.
