Bow legs in age of 13 months
My daughter age 13 months.She started walking in age of 10 months.it appears she is walking with bow legs.Please suggest if it is normal in this age.

Im a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon. Bow legs at 13 mònths is a normal physiological finding and needs no traetment. And just a close follow up. It usually corrects by 3 years of age. Only thing is to keep the diet good. Milk and milk products and protein rich diet to maintain healthy bone so that no deficiency occours. If there is wrist or ankle swelling then go for investigation for rickets. Thanks.

She need further evaluation. Consult ortho doctor. Kids upto age of two they will have now legs which gradually corrects to valgus knee. Check vitamin d. Consult doctor to make sure it is normal for your child
