I am experiencing the following in my life 1.low self esteem 2.not interested in anything 3.being lonely (didn't made any friend ship from schooldays) 4.changed 3 jobs in 4 years 5.pushing myself hard to wake up in working days 6.social anxiety 7.unable to handle even small issues in workplace 8.feeling worthless 9. No future goals 10.Living and going to job just to avoid my parents getting disappointed. 11.negative thinking But I don't have any problem in sleeping and i have good appetite.Do i really have any problem. Will medication can help me from getting rid of all these terms from my life...?

Hello, These can be symptoms of depression. Depression symptoms include feeling low all the time, loss of interest in previous pleasurable activity, crying spells, feeling lonely, difficulty in concentration, sleep disturbance, low in energy, tiredness, loss of confidence, hopeless, helpless, worthless feeling and sometime even suicidal ideas persistently over a period of time. Few of them or all can be present at a time. Symptoms worsens with time so its advisable to take help from mental health professionals as early as possible. Definitely with medication your symptoms will improve.

Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. Consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. It is likely with medication and counseling the symptoms will improve. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless consult a Psychiatrist immediately.
